  Hardtail, tune-o-matic or tremmy?

What type of bridge do you have on your main axe? Well my one and only has a Floyd Rose style. But it gives me hell.

I like tremmys too, but I'd say tune-o-matic. Strings-thru-body <3

Hmmm I have two main axes my delux strat and my LP. I love the tune o matic for ease of string changing and the tone I get plus it stays in tune. I also love the floating bridge in my strat as I can get some cool sounds......Ok at a push its the tune o matic

Actually I have both a hardtail and a vintage tremmy, but prefer the hardtail. I just like to KISS, less to go wrong.

Mine is a blocked tremolo. Improved playability, tunability, and sustain by a mile.

Chris,
How did you block the tremolo?

I have a Fender type trem on my main guitars, but I have 5 springs tightened so the bridge plate sits flat on the top. Not quite like a blocked trem, but close. I like to have the trem there because I think it adds to the "Stratness" of the tone, but I don't use it and I don't want tuning issues, so I have it setup tight. you can't pull the strings up at all - only down - and I never do that anyway.
