I dont see many Electric Guitarists around.

Well, even if this place is mainly for "Beginners" that doesnt mean everyone have to start with ACOUSTIC guitars all the way. Electric guitar is also a superb way to express yourself. So, were are you electric beginners or beyond guitarists? Sometimes i feel alone in this distortion realm and i would like to hear many other mainly electric guitarists around.

I also play electric exclusively. Not by choice however, I'm looking to get a nice acoustic pretty soon.

I play plenty of electric, as well as steel string and nylon string acoustic guitar. I'll even sit in on bass on occasion.....

I have been almost exclusively electric for 3 months now with not much more than 30 minutes on the acoustic in that time.

The electric is a steep learning curve but once you crank it up and scream out some riffs and you nail your first solo then it is great fun. The most stressful thing about electric is trying to get the tone right but after months of trial and error with my gear I think i have found the 5 or so that use all the time now.

I just love wailing on the electric. But by far, I would indentify myself as mainly an acoustic player. It's just that I seem to go in cycle with it. I've been on an electric kick for while now.

About 85% electric / 15% acoustic here. I love 'em both, but just favor being 'plugged in' most of the time.

I only play the electric , as I have a HHS Strat and a Bullet 150 amp , I am a beginner of just a few months , learning the pentatonic scales and the fret board , I am finally getting my fingers to work , and I have been working up and down the fret board , and have actually made some of my own little riffs that sound good to me I enjoy that alot as I dont feel like learning any songs just yet . That may sound stupid to some but I think it will be easier to learn songs once I figure/learn the fret board more .

Oh and GT , I enjoy listening to your uploaded music , so please keep it up , it gives me great pleasure , and hope to get to your caliber some day

Since I got my new Fender Strat, I've been playing with that most of the time and my acoustic has had to take a bit of a "back seat"

Overall I prefer to play electric, but there are some things I just love playing on the ol' acoustic.

i'm 90% electric but my style may not be what you are thinking of. No blistering leads or distortion.
