how to transcribe a song?

hello everyone, Im xarius, 21 years old, just new here, Ive been playing the guitar for over a year now, I tought myself to play the guitar since I dont know anyone who have to time to give me a guitar lesson, playing a guitar sure is hell but its worth it, I could play a lot of songs now even a hard one coz I always practice a lot but I dont know crap about transcribing a song, do you really need a lot of years experience to transcribe a song?

Watch your language here Ironcloud. We have lots of youngins here. Transposing is not too difficult once you know some basic music theory. There are also programs on the net that can make it pretty simple too. You could also just use a capo to change Key.

Ive never tried to used a capo before but I saw one of my friend using one
