Any tips for this SRV classic? I can't get the strumming down..

Practise very slowly! I have posted various threads on here discussing playing at 15bpms or less to really learn the piece.

Yeah, it's just that the song uses some sort of muting inbetween each note in the main riff. I wasn't sure of the best way of going about it.

It is pretty straight forward. It starts with a 1/4 note up stroke then settles into standard down-up shuffle. The upstrokes are more a percussive thing so accuracy is not a must. Roll your palm down to the strings on the upstroke and you shouldn't even have to think about it.
