That's quite an easy variant yes, even though it lacks it's 3rd. If you want a more full sounding 6-note chord (which is still easy) try this:
E-10 (9)
B--8 (5)
G--9 (3)
D--8 (m7)
A--8 (4)
E--8 (Root)

Are the numbers in parenthesis the 9ths, 5ths, 3rds, etc? and the numbers 10, 8, 9, 8, 8, 8 the place to put your fingers?

Another way to think of the C11 chord is that it is very similar to a Bb chord. Do the open A chord form on the 3rd fret and use your index finger to play the 1 fret, first string. You could even throw in the root on the 5 string if you can bar the four strings while leaving the 1st string playable.
The intervals from the 5 string up are 1,4,b7,9,4,

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
