I stand corrected
I opined to someone once that having fat pudgy fingers was the "kiss of death" to playing the guitar well. And that having "alien fingers" and hair down to your waist was more the typical guitar superstar configuration nowadays. WRONG!! I take it all back. If the link below works, you will see what I mean.

I think we all look for excuses why we can't do something like it took me about 40 years to pick up a guitar , then I used the old my fingers are too short to plat barre chords , now I just don't play them because I suck at barre chords but I am still practicing them to get em right ...
I have tiny hands , so what I get told by my siblings get over it ....
Things in life are put in our way to challenge our selves ,
quitters quit ,,
doers do,,
what are you ?
I am a tryer so I try

Thanks for the posting of Segovia, justapicker. I've always enjoyed his playing, and it was marvelous to watch videos of a couple of favorite recordings I have. I was surprised to see, though, that he has only 10 fingers!

And your best sure beats my best too. My son (the shredder) and I were watching some of your uploads just yesterday and we really enjoyed them. BTW, whose picture is that of on your axe just back of the bridge? Nice!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
