Kind of hard to get a feel for it out of context like that. It looks like simple slides,hammer ons and pulloffs. It would help if we knew what tune it came from. Someone here may have heard it and be able to help with where it's going.

/= A slide
P= Pull off
H= Hammer-on

Slide - Strike the note indicated and slide up to the other note with your fret hand.
Pull Off - Performed with two fingers in position before the first note is played. Strike the first note and flick the string with your fretted finger. As your finger lifts off; creating the sound of the lower note.
Hammer - On - the hammer- on is performed by playing the first of the two notes and then, while it is still sounding, the left hand finger hammers down onto the 2nd note. Thus the 2nd note is not picked; the sound is produced entirely by the left hand finger"hammering-on" to the string.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
