  capo help

could you explain a little more about using the capo to play with other guitarist like if one is playing a progression of the open D,G,A,D chords and i wanted to make it more interesting by plaing those same sounds
but using different chord fingerings what fret would i put it on to still be in the key of D

Hi koolkitty.

You can capo at the:

second fret and play C F G C
fifth fret and play A D E A
seventh fret and play G C D G
