Sorry again for my not-so-brilliant question , I hope I'm not irritating you all

I just wanted to know whether Flamenco Style of playing the Guitar (which I know is very complicated and specific for a Nylon-Strung Classical Guitar) be learnt on a Steel-String Acoustic Guitar ????

I have a very close friend who was taught in the "classical" tradition--he is very able to play Flamenco on a accoustic or electric steel strung guitar--however for learning it may be a quite different story--hope you have luck at it. Scott

I don't think any Flamenco player is going to tell you it's ok, but go with wharever you want to go with. In the end you'll find your style.
