Trying to Find Some Practice Songs

I've been playing for about six months now and I have learned many different licks but I have yet to complete a song. I really like rock music and I'm finding it hard to get the rhythm down on solos. I also don't want to stray too far away from standard tuning since I'm still learning. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good song to learn with?

Another hint: If you google 'chords my song' you'll find several sites that show the chords, lyrics, tabs, etc. to 'my song'.
