Anybody have any of these books/DVDs?

Anyone have any of the following books/DVDs?

What are your opinions?

Chord Tone Soloing: A Guitarist's Guide to Melodic Improvising in Any Style (Paperback/DVD) – Mark John Sternal

Guitar Aerobics: A 52-Week, One-lick-per-day Workout Program for Developing, Improving and Maintaining Guitar Technique (Paperback) – Troy Nelson

Total Rock Guitar: A Complete Guide to Learning Rock Guitar (Paperback/CD/DVD) – Troy Stetina

Well I went ahead and bought these 2. They come as books with a CD (and not a DVD as I previously stated).

I guess from the lack of replies that nobody has them. I will track back here and write a little review for each one once I get into them. The chord tone one has me particularly excited.

Hi GuitarCanuck (from another Canuck)

I don't have the books, but I did look at the reviews on amazon. I was tempted to order a couple of them myself. The one about chord tone soloing is especially interesting to me, so that would be great if you would post a review.

I'm not much of a rock guitarist, but would be interested in learning how to write riffs or a bit of lead guitar/improvising . I think your third choice was more along these lines, but I could be wrong.

Thanks.
Nutty

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
