i have been learning for about nine months i am now trying to look at music to play it i dont know if i should concentrate on tab or notes im dyslexic so learning is way hard but i get so much pleasure out of playing (attempting to) what does anyone think is the best way the hardest part is the jumble which appears after looking at the music for a while

I am dyslexic too. I find tabs easier than standard.

I use a combination of both. I use tab to find where to go on the fretboard and standard for the timing. Most guitar song books will have tab and standard together.

I think if i were dylestic i wouldn't try tabs IMHO, learning scales or chords will make you familiar with the fret board, then maybe look at a tab or video lesson, with the basics down you won't have spend as much time looking at the tab

Cool (well not too cool for us) but I am dyslexic too. I find both really helpful. There are programs such as guitarpro that offer both at the same time.

For me, i avoid tabs as far as possible.
I use chords for all my songs.
Even fingerpicking, i use chords too.

  tabs

maybe its down to it being new but i get muddled with both
going from easy pieces to more complicated ones justseems major
often i just close the book and go back to the simpler chord patterns others put to songs guess

If you can't use your eyes due to dislexia, there is a simple answer - use your ears. Music is "listening" discipline and your ears will tell you all you need to know - where are the tones on the fretboard as well as what is being played on a tape.
