guitar stool

Ok Im really getting tired of the cahir I use to practice ..I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a nice stool?

Will a plain bar stool work?

Is there something better?

Hi Aunkster, depends how much you want to spend, this ones reasonably priced.

Morgan Monroe Guitar Stool (Black) from Music 44

And this ones dead cool but a bit more expensive

Fender Barstools Are Here

They're nearly the same as bar stools, it's more a question of height and comfort so if you found a bar stool you liked it would be ok.

Cheers

Chris

You might want to take a look at some drum thrones - they make decent guitar stools and some of them are very comfortable.

I just sit in my office chair or on my couch, lol. But I might be an idiot At rare occasions I take a regular wooden stool out though.

I use a computer chair with no arms. This allows me to raise and lower it for comfort.

I would suggest a Bar stool. Something with nice padding, and a place to put your feet.

Call in at the local guitar shops and check out what sort of stools they provide for their customers. I personally believe bar stools are too high, but then I suppose it depends what style you're playing (and how high the bars are in your part of the world!)

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
