pinch harmonics

What are they? i heard of them and i think a friend tried to show me once but can't remember what they are or how to...

The king of pinch harmonics is Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top!!!
What you have to do is pinch the string with your pick and press your thumb into the string at the same time to give a harmonic ring simultaniously. Easier said than done! keep trying and you'll get that cool sound you're looking for!
