Some people feel their fingers are too small and others that they are to big. Practice and experience make the fingers the right size. Give yourself time to get there, it takes a while.

Make sure your thumb is under the middle of the neck. You want your fingers to hit the strings as close to a 90 degree angle as possible. The fingers on the same fret will have the 3rd finger slightly behind the second finger but, still as close to the fret wire as you can get them and still sound the notes cleanly.

I didn't think anyone would consider their fingers too small. Unless you're trying to get a good reach over the fretboard which you will get in time anyway since your fingers will stretch.

I for myself thought that my fingers were too big and that some things just weren't possible for me. But I was just an idiot
