Toni Iommi bending
I wanted to try some Toni Iommi bending (if any of you know what I mean) but I have a floyd rose bridge so I dunno if it will break the string when i do it. Wil it?

You can bend strings no matter what type of bridge you have. Tony Iommi doesn't have some weird bending technique that I've seen.

Do you mean the behind the nut bending like he does in the beginning of Iron Man? You can't do that with a locking nut.

I figured it out now. Yesterday when I felt like playing Ironman, I just left metal block that holds the the low E and A loose. Then I can still bend like Tonni.
WHo ever knew floyd roses were so inconvinient...

rubbish in my eyes... AT. I still have my Jackson with the FR but I never use it anymore cause it is such a schlep to maintain and change strings... My PRS is much better and it also stays in tune when I bend...

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
