Paul Kelly strumming help

Hi I have now been playing the guitar for about 6 months and would like to learn how to play To her Door by Paul Kelly.I have the chord tabs from The Little black book of Australian Music and they all sound right but i can't seem to pick up the strumming pattern and listening over and over to the song has me more confused than ever.If some one could help it would be great thankyou tasha

Tasha try this it might be ok
(G)ddudu(D)dd(C)ddudu(G)dd
or leave out the first downstrum in the first G and the C chord and play the bass note of the chord followed by dudu
