switchfoot's meant to live

im learning meant to live by switchfoot and i've run into some problems
-well during the chorus in the tab i have i see a NH? and the numbers in brackets

i have no idea what that means. some kind of harmonic? idk could some help me out? in the power tab i got it sounds really cool

-also, has anyone here ever worked really hard on a song, only to learn that what you've been practicing for long hours.....WAS WRONG!!!!! SUPER FRUSTRATING...i saw another tab for this song and i listened to the song and it sounded more right then my power tab....so is this even rite? can someone show me a link or something to a tab of meant to live?
any help would greatly be appreciated....

N.H. means natural harmonic. Kirk has a lesson on them in the read me first column. The trouble with tabs is that they are only as good as the author so you are going to find wide variations depending on the skills of the writer. Even tab books are no sure thing. Blue grass tab books are a nightmare of of scrambled tunes,but you find typos and just plain mistakes in most tab books,unless the player who wrote the tune wrote it note for note in standard which is not that common for guitar players.

switchfoot is one of my fav bands!!!they inspired the name of my band stitchwounds(sound alike?....a bit yeh?) and i love doing covers of this band and singing! his voice rulz!!!!....ahum..and so does mine...ahum.HAH
