what does that mean? is it that you play open D string, 3rd fret on B, 2nd on G (all down the first collumn) -and you continue that along, one column at a time?, and what does the Bm7....etc stand for?
i've literally just begun and don't have a teacher yet lol, could someone explain it to me plz?

Those aren't tabs - they're chord diagrams (shown using tab).
The first chord is B minor 7th and as the first column shows, you can play it as shown by holding those frets. All the other columns are showing the other chords mentioned.
BUT - this isn't standard tuning, so if you've only just begun learning, you should learn standard tuning (EADGBE) before you look at alternate tunings, like that one they are using (DADGBD).

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
