help with tabs?

im stuck lol...

what does that mean? is it that you play open D string, 3rd fret on B, 2nd on G (all down the first collumn) -and you continue that along, one column at a time?, and what does the Bm7....etc stand for?
i've literally just begun and don't have a teacher yet lol, could someone explain it to me plz?

Those aren't tabs - they're chord diagrams (shown using tab).

The first chord is B minor 7th and as the first column shows, you can play it as shown by holding those frets. All the other columns are showing the other chords mentioned.

BUT - this isn't standard tuning, so if you've only just begun learning, you should learn standard tuning (EADGBE) before you look at alternate tunings, like that one they are using (DADGBD).
