New Strings

How often should strings be renewed ? I'm playing an acoustic ,steel medium strings about 1 to 2 hours a day ?

6 to 8 weeks on average for a string change.

I usually wait until the start sounding off....depending on how uch I play, that could be as little as 3 weeks!! Wasn't there a poll on this subject some time ago??

I replace mine when they start sounding "dead", regardless of how long they've been on the guitar.

Look it up, and yes, this does come up a lot...

But it depends on how much you play. I change mine about every mounth, but if its spring brak and im playing 6 hours a day, I wear them out in about 2 weeks... But once it sounds bad, or the stings are "crusty" or just it just doesent feel... Right.
