Some good fingerpick/fingerstyle songs?
I'm kind of at a crossroads here. I want to learn some more songs, but not sure where to look for some beginner/intermediate stuff. Any ideas? I can play things like: Dust in the Wind, Stairway to Heaven, Layla (acoustic), and the such, but I mostly want beginner/intermediate fingerpicking/style songs. Suggestions?

You probably won't find a lot of finger picking tab's in the rock world. I would suggest looking into more folksy music such as that from John Prine, John Denver, James Taylor, Kris Kristofferson, and of course Bob Dylan.

The suggestions can be by anyone. Classical, folk, rock, etc. Just not death metal actually...

Some of my favourites which you haven't mentioned:
Romeo & Juliet - Dire Straits
Love of my Life - Queen (live version)
Vincent - Don McLean
Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton
Almost OT:
Ave Maria - Franz Schubert
Andante in C - Mauro Giuliani
A few years ago, Total Guitar magazine featured some brilliant pieces - Bohemian Rhapsody , and some lovely stuff by Colin Reid (Tales of the Unexpected, Music from a Found Harmonium, etc).
Finally, have you checked out all of Kirk's stuff?

Kirk has a number of fingerstyle songs posted that are intermediate level.

Try Eric Lugosch's Fingerstyle Academy at ericlugosch.com. A free site with ten graded lessons ranging from beginner to advanced. All lessons include midi soundtracks and tabs. A great site that's taught me a lot.

Over at truefire.com, David Hamburger has a most excellent lesson on fingerstyle playing called, Fingerstyle Blues Handbook. None of the lessons are that hard but they sound real good. David also has a more advance lesson package called New School Fingerstyle Blues that has some amazing songs to learn. Also at truefire.com is Fingerstyle Blues 1 by acousticguitarworkshop.com. I have all these lessons - highly recommended.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
