Anyone Use A Classical Guitar Support?
Wonder how many out there use a classical guitar support rather than the traditional footstool?
And what type?
I'm leaning towards the A-Frame from Mel-Bay
Bad Back - Kaput - I mean I was told to have major carpentry work - hit by a drunk driver in the 60's
Still love classical guitar !

We had a post not long ago on this subject . There is a cool support that sits on one thigh that holds and elevates the guitar to the correct height without altering foot position.

Is there any way to search for the old post?

Here's one Aero .....
Classical Guitar Support
You can search in any forum from the search link on the blue, top menu bar. It's a very basic search engine, but if you experiment with a few different keywords I find it usually manages to turn up something. Otherwise, just Google for it, now that you have an idea what to look for..

I have studied CG for over 10 years and now use an Aria guitar support. Can be purchased at Guitar Salon International. It is a little Borg-ish, but I like it because it is adjustable and doesn't mar the guitar finish.

My teacher has a some sort of support like what 737blues is mentioning. Or cant you just use a strap to hold the guitar at a 45 degree angle? My friend who plays an Jackson flying V, hurt his back too awhile ago on a trampoline, which means he can't sit in classical position too well. He just uses the strap to hold it at that angle.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
