Ok can i get it yet???

A couple of members ive spoken to in the chatroom have told me that i should give PT a go.. So, here i am, listing my "credentials" to see if i am up for it....

I can play chords, and strum what id call complex strumming patterns, i cant fingerpick worth a damn..

I know the common barre chord shapes and can play them, but not all of them 100% fluently... E shape, A/Am Shape, Maj7, Min7, Dom7, and things like if you play a chord shape as a barre on the from the 5th string (Am shape) to the 6th string (E Shape) it swaps from minor to major...

I know the blues, major, and pentatonic minor scales... and how to build the scale, TTSTTTS etc... and for eg the blues scale uses (1,b3,4,b5,5,b7) and how to work the intervals out, but cant do it on the fly in my head as im playing, i have to stop and think about it, or work it out on paper. I can play through the scales at different positions on the neck.

I understand how chords are built, maj (1,3,5) min (1,b3,5), but again, would have to stop and think about it again with pen and paper, if you wanted me to make a chord on the spot....

So, i guess, im ready to lay my order down, now... Am i a viable candiate for PT?

From what you've said in the chat PT is probably just what you need. Congratulations Matty.

PT is definitely the way to go Matty! You won't regret it, and you'll be amazed how much your playing will improve. It has for me anyway!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
