  pdf

is there a reason why the pdf is no longer available? I remember it being a bit cheaper and regardless of how much I want to make the purchase, I cant afford the $70 for the book and dvd atm

And the NZ dollar is tumbling!

When I first thought about buying the PT combo (2005) it was about NZ$100, now the exchange rate has gone south & it's about NZ$135.

Hi nem ...

Re the PlaneTalk package:

I really should have done what I recently did a long time ago, the day I finally finished the video (which became the DVD), namely merge the book (and slide rule) and DVD together into one product only, Book/DVD. 'The Method'. The book/slide-rule explains, the DVD demonstrates. The three together leave you in doubt as what it's all about, and it really is the only way to impart the lesson ... so I finally bit the bullet, and merged them. Most PlaneTalkers at the private forum agree. It saves countless hours explaining in words at the forum what the DVD shows in just a few frames.

The PDF:

I probably never should have turned PlaneTalk into PDF format. As you know, the real book comes with a real slide rule which is die-cut, prefolded, and displays data through little windows in the cardboard it's made from. To ask customers to print the PDF version of it out and then get a sharp blade and cut the little windows was a bit much, as it turned out, and the slide-rule is a very important part of the lesson. I also spent too much time chasing up buyers' lost passwords and fixing download problems.

So ... sorry 'bout that! But, the good news is that by having to buy the book, slide-rule and DVD together ... you just can't help but learn the trick to playing guitar. I'm very confident that, when properly digested, it's one of the most powerful lessons you'll ever learn.

Danthelion: Yes, the fluctuation in World currencies is a real pain in the neck ... for all concerned! The Aussie dollar is high these days ... I hate that!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
