I've thought about it. But drums are my main instrument and I got a few drumming DVD's over the past several months so I've been mainly focusing on that recently. Now it's time to start focusing on my guitar playing as well.

Plus being a poor college student, it takes me a while to save up for things.

I do have one question....

I see the slide rule comes packaged with the PT book, but I'm not really interested in slide guitar. Can you just buy the PT book/DVD or is there info in the slide rule that's necessary for the full PT experience? If there is then that's fine, but I don't really want to pay for something I won't use if it's just teaching how to play slide guitar.

The chord tone blues looks really good. I may get that one at a later time.

Thanks,
-tkr

The slide rule is a gadget for showing you Kirk's PT method at a glance - nothing to do with slide guitar.

The Slide Rule is a quick reference, sum it all up and bring it on home little gadget.

Hey, Tekker. Please allow me to make it a gift to you. After all the hard work you put in here, it's the least I can do.

WOW, that is awesome!!! Thank you so much Kirk!

I'm really excited about getting it after all the great things I've read in the forum about it.

Thanks again,

WOOHOO! Got my PT earlier today.

I already read the book (in one sitting...which I knew I probably would) and watched the DVD.

I'm gonna let this sink in and play with it before I start my review for the PT testimonial forum, but in short.... IT ROCKS!! Soooo simple, yet powerful.

Kirk is the man, he even signed my copy and wished me a happy birthday.... I would frame it and hang it on my wall, but then I wouldn't be able to read it anymore.

-tkr

P.S. Kirk, there weren't THAT many theory mistakes.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
