  Ordered it!

I can't think of a product I've ordered in the last umpteen years where I've been so anxious to receive it! I placed an order for PT last week and I can't wait to get it. Having gone through a few years of lessons with a teacher who taught me the CAGED method, I got to the point where, as Kirk so aptly put it, I can't see the forest for the trees. I know I'm stuck, I know why I'm stuck, and I want to get unstuck! I think this book will do it for me. I have a sense of what it's going to do, because I think my teacher was trying to do it (but couldn't do it in a way that wasn't confusing).

I can play all the different scales, and I know how to find I ii iii IV V, vi and vii on the fretboard in any given key, but I want to go beyond the usual major and minor pentatonics, harmonic minors, major scales, etc. and make some real music! I want to be able to follow along with a piece of music and incorporate all I've learned so far with the enlightenment I'm sure Kirk's book will bring me and start doing some serious playing! Can you tell I'm about as excited as a 6-year old on Christmas eve???

BTW, these forums are great! I can't wait to see what the PT private forum is like.

Congrats. You going to have many Ah Ha moments once you get into the book. See you over at the P.T. forum.
