  Ordered PlaneTalk!!!

I ordered PlaneTalk today and can't wait to get it! Hope it's not too far over my head, but I'm going for it after reading some of the other posts. Give me a few weeks and I may be able to play like the Captain! Seriously I'm anxious to get it and take my playing to the next level!

The concepts aren't hard to grasp at all - Kirk really makes the theory easy to understand, and you'll learn a lot about music theory! Putting the concept to work takes practice, but it will really open doors for you regarding chord construction.

Aunt Doty,
If you can play a number of chords, then this is the next level. I often watched Steve (smort) play while I'm finger picking a tune
and play around in melody thru my picking a tune. When you begin to understand the relationship of basic finger positions and how they relate to the fretboard this will help you a lot. You will learn a lot with Plane Talk. Congrats on your next step.

Aunt Doty,
Just got mine last Friday and I can safely say you are going to have a blast. It is a serious eye opener.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
