If you are tired of the boring vaccuum of modern corporate
radio then this is a heads up (for those living in or near the SF Bay Area who are not aware). KPIG is radio station out of Freedom, CA. They are at 107.5 FM. However, their signal strength is week and up until a few months ago one could only hear them when over that way. But, they have added an AM transmitter in Piedmont, CA and I am now blessed with the ability to hear them almost whenever I want. I know, AM sucks, but compared to what else is available on the radio it is paradise. So, those in and around the SF Bay Area check it out if you haven't heard it. Their playlist is huge and all over the place. There is a heavy leaning toward country or county-like but it just doesn't stop there.
They are also available world-wide on the web at kpig.com. It is subscription based but probably worth it. Go to their site and check out the play list and you will see what I mean.
