  help with a chord progression

I've found a really neat acoustic cover of "One" from U2.
http://www.strippedmusic.com/arch_shinedown.html
Can one of the more experienced musicians here help with a chord progression.
I've only been able to come up with a dm and F chord in the body of the tune. The fingering the guitarist is using is confusing to me. Is it a C and G mixed in? Do these chords work together?
I'm hoping it is in standard tuning.
The beginning is mostly shown in the video but I'm guessing these are power chords. The band is Shinedown. I like this unplugged set of work. Check out Wicked Game for another neat cover by Three Days Grace.
This is a neat site with some neat covers and original work.
I'm trying to learn a few songs I can strum and pick to play with others and this seems do-able.
Thanks for any help and hopefully this is enough challenge to get some help.
Happy New Year to all.

'One' is about the top of the list of my all time favourite songs.

I regularly jam with it and play bass on it with our band. Excellent Choice!

I've linked to both the Shinedown version and U2's - they both seem similar at a glance, but I know the U2 tab works a treat.

Enjoy your 'One',dude

Cheers
Mick

Great luck to have your help Mick. Yes I agree, a very good song.
If you can watch the live clip you may find their interpretation interesting for an old performer like yourself.
Well have it printed and now I will work hard to add to my growing repertoire.

Happy New Year from across the pond!
Mike

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
