  Jim's Jam Site

I dunno if Jim H. had mentioned this here before but, if anybody wants to pick a little, I'm there now for a few. It's lonely there at the moment. It's at http://livejam.jimheidinger.com/

For some reason I can't get on at the moment. Will try again later.

I should mention that you're more likely to get some company if you announce that you're gonna be there beforehand.

Well, the Dewymeister and I managed to have a little jam on there last night after stumbling our way around the user interface. Other than a bit of latency, everything worked pretty good once you got used to it. Thinking about it, I think the latency issue was getting worse the longer we were on there. I think it may be something solved by popping out and getting back in again to "reset" things. Anyhoo, Dewy can lay down some mean classic rock licks. It was fun.

I'm not the only one... it was probably the site lagging because it was trying to learn those mean licks cshude was laying out.

Had a blast, but the latency certainly kept it from being a well timed jam.

Check ours out Dewy - http://www.guitarforbeginners.com/forum/testchat.html it's the same kind of thing as Jims, but there's video too. We're planning on integrating our user database if it gets the thumbs up from members.

The first login on the page is for a one on one messenger type thing, the second one is the chatroom like Jim is using. Video is enabled if you have a cam.

Cheers

Clancy
