  David Bromberg Tabs/Chords?

Been trying to find tabs and/or chords for Bromberg stuff, particularly Will Not Be Your Fool and the old Bessie Smith Tune Send Me To The 'Lectric Chair, but am interested in anything anyone knows.

Thanks!

PS. Not sure if this was the right page to start this thread, but it's the only place I could find a New Thread button.

The chords are:
G B7 C7 C#dim7
G D G D7
G B7 C7 C#dim7
A D7
D7 G
D7 G
B7 Em
A D7 F7 G#7 D7 (D7 pulled up the neck 1 octave)
G B7 C7 C#dim 7
G D G D7
G B7 C7 C#dim7
A D7
G G7
C C#dim7
G B7 C7 C#dim7
G D7 G
That's the basic jist of it. I play it better than I write it.
The C#dim7 in the"G, B7, C7, C#dim7" is a4,d5,g3,b5
The C#dim7 in the "G,G7,C,C#dim7" is d5,g6,b5 e6
Hope that helps you out. Ever find the words to will not be your fool?
Good luck

Got edited on the lyrics, because of possible copyright infringements, though I'm 90% sure they're public domain by now. I mean, the song was written in 1922!

The administrators and moderators on the site are pretty busy guitarzan and don't really have the time to check the provenance and history of lyrics that are posted to see if they are in the public domain or not.

Feel free to post a link to the lyrics on another site.

'SOkay; I know the lyrics anyway, plus they came through on my email.

Thanks, though! I've played it before, including at a free show I did at a fairly local "Greystone Hotel", but modified it (read "simplified it") due to sn unexplained inability (read "probably laziness" or "perhaps simple musician's block") to figure out some of the changes. Just got to listen to the original version on Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Hour on XM radio - he DJs a great program on Wednesday morn) and he played it on his "Jail" themed show.

Thanks agan!

Oh, and I'll send the lyrics to ". . . Fool" when I get the time - I have somewhere on paper a set of lyrics I've been compiling since around '79 from all the (12 or 15 or so) versions I have from my tapes (some of his changes he makes do to locale and/or current events are hysterical) but I just can't find it right now and I have a sever gout flare-up on my left hand right now and can barely type now let alone tear apart my home, so it may be a bit)

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
