Well that is certainly some self-serving website he has there. Yeesh, he should tone it down maybe a tad on the gushing bio. I couldn't get the sound clips to work...bummer.

Pretty decent player. Don't know that I would put him up there as the best, though. No doubt he's better than me, though
I only got the clips to work for his latest release. I wanted to hear some of the other stuff so I wasn't basing my conclusion just on one album (dangerous thing to do).

Enjoyed the vid and his playing. It is always a good thing to have a player you aspire to emulate.

So did I but also across the top there was a banner that said that video was removed by the poster. I did put in Monte Montgomery in the search and a bunch of his stuff came up.

Found it interesting that he plays the acoustic as if it were an electric.
Definitely not a slouch......I'll probably take the time to check out a bit more of his stuff. Thanks for the info on him.

Well that is embarrassing. I thought he was doing a D.S. cover. I was thinking, man did he ever nail that

Yes, I got that banner eventually and also found some clips of him. He's a great player, that's for sure ...

Just checked out his version of Little Wing- that was pretty awesome. I'll have to keep checking some of his other stuff out.

It is indeed, but I can't help but wonder if it would be even better on electric. Is playing acoustic just his "schtick"? It might be cool to see him play the first half acoustic and then rock out the rest of it on electric (like he needs advice from me LOL).
