Cool. JPJ probably doesn't get the credit he deserves for his contribution to Zep. I also think we should thank him for his reluctance to reform the band. As Live Aid showed, it probably wouldn't be the same.
How about this for coincidence. As this video finished it started flashing up previews to other videos, one of which was Blind Snoopy Rhodes 1st open mic.

wow man, john paul jones rocks. dont know to much about the led, (well i do, but not about appearances) but i'm guessing he wasn't playing with jimmy page? who was the guitarist? he's not particulally good, i'm just curious. jimmy page rocks, big log is a wicked song, and stairway to heaven is legendary

I just saw that vid a couple of days ago myself. Very Cool. JPJ is a legend. Check out this one of him doing "That's The Way":

BTW, the guitarist in "Going to California" is Paul Gilbert

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
