  Tribute Bands

I went to an open air music festival last sunday, which was headlined by Status Quo.
Quo were OK, but very samey(once you've heard one song ,you've heard em all) sorry Quo fans, but thats my oppinion.
However one of the support acts"The Counterfeit Stones" whom I've seen on many occasions, for me blew the rest off stage. I have put in a link. so please let me know what you think. They have been going a long time and do not take themselves serious.

some tribute bands are amazing I have went to see Trexasty on several occasions and reckon they were tighter and peformed the stuff better than the orginal band (sorry Marc rip)These bans often get accused of ripping off other peoples music. I dont honestly think these guys would make that much money its more down to performing music of their idols

I Went To See A Def Leppard Concert In London A Few Months Ago And Cheap Trick Where The Tribute Band. My God, They Rocked The House. I Mean, Obviously Def Lep Where Better - Being The Best Band In The World And All - But Chep Trick Thoroughly Impressed Me. Their Guitar Designs Are Awsome!! And "i Want You To Want Me" Is Borderline Legendary

sound like you were at a great gig bro I would have thought Cheap Trick would have more likely been the support band and not a tribute band they are a well established band. Totally agree Def Lep rock

Hi Malcolm. I know compared to the real deal its not a lot, but the counterfeit Stones earn about £500.000 a year. not bad is it. However if you get the chance to see em you will realise they earn every penny. Peace to ya bro

The amount of time and research these guys must put in to get it right is admirable.
However they havve been going a long time, and they wouldn't be anything without the frontman Nick Dagger (Steve Elson)
