I saw that on the news the other day, but it was just on the headlines crawl. Never got a chance to see a pic of it, so thanks for that. Quite a piece of music history there- I wonder how it sounds?

If i'll be very famous musician, i hope my first guitar will play about 1 000 000$

It's quite amazing how much "a" guitar can pay

I'm actually surprised that it didn't get more...considering how Clapton's "Blackie" went for just under $1,000,000.00 at auction. I guess it's true that Blackie was played by Clapton for many years, whereas Paul's guitar probably was only played for a short while by him, but still, the Beatles may not have existed had it not been for that guitar!

  Sorry to change the subject

Nothing could be as expensive as Elvis Presley's 1975 24K Gold Lincoln Continental. It is a priceless vehicle I am told. I wonder what some of his guitars were worth.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
