Can some one please help ?
I am currently embroiled in a discussion ( almost a argument ) about the Eagles ..
When hell freezes over albumn ?
Is it true the Eagles broke up then when one ( of the Eagles ) was being inviewed , the reporter asked if the band would ever reform ?
The answer was , " Yeah when hell freezes over "....
Is this true , has anyone else ever heard this ?
Trev....

It does sounds vaguely familiar Hilch. It's mentioned here... http://www.concertdvdreviews.com/Rev...agles_Hell.htm - I wouldn't go getting into fisty cuffs over it though.

No way Clancy
I am a bit too old for that stuff now , I bumped my hand last year and broke 2 bones , so there will be no fisty cuffs ( just heated debate shall we say )
Thanks for the link
And I knew I was right
This Eagles reunion concert was dubbed Hell Freezes Over supposedly because when asked about an Eagles reunion in the past, the band, especially Don Henley, has proudly proclaimed "when hell freezes over".
Oh happy days are here again

Google and the right search term never fails. If it's out there, it can be found.

I believe if you watch the latest Farewell tour concert DVD you will see that said. That's where I heard it. I just can't remember who said it.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
