  Drum synth recommendations?

Hey all,
I'm looking for suggestions re: a 'drum synthesizer' or a keyboard that has drum beats at various tempos to play along with. (I tend to play slower and slower as I concentrate and need something to keep me up to speed.) Any thoughts? I know a metronome is probably what I need but I like toys
Mahalo Plenty,
Charlene

u might also try some backing tracks, and just slow the tempo down to ur speed, or midi file of the song u want, many of the midi players allow u to slow tempo and also turn off diff instruments so u only get the background sounds, i use jetaudio which is a free player, just google for it if u want it, the basic program is free

Thanks so much! I really did try to find old discussions and came up dry. I appreciate your research!

WOW - thanks! I have no idea what a midi player is or how one would go about slowing tempos on a back track but now that I have that info I know how to find out. Thanks herds for your time! We newbies REALLY appreciate experienced folk helping us out.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
