Cdn Guitar Festival: $12,000 in prizes

Hey Canucks and 'Mericans living near the border....

You know how your mom / spouse / wife / friends / boyfriend told you that your guitar playing was nothing but a waste of time and money? Well you can prove them all wrong by putting your guitar skills to the test in a The Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Championship" July 21-23, 2006 in Odessa, Ontario. It's open to people of all nationalities and no entrance fee required.

Apart from the competition, it seems to be three days of celebrating the guitar and meeting fellow guitar nuts.

Six string has been promoting this in his signature line for months.

Looks like a cool event.

Todd

Yeah me too. I'm flying to Edmonton tomorrow and not back until Tuesday. I'm going to try to mark it on my calendar next year!
Cheers

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
