Nice Piano Music Solo Piece Of Listenage

I was browsing through the following website found here (it’s nothing special, I wouldn’t bother checking it out if I was you) and found a piece entitled Metamorphosis One by Phillip Glass and it is so beautifully simple and twisted that I thought I would share it with you all.

Click on Philip Glass - 01 - Metamorphosis One.mp3 on the above website if you want to here it, it's all in alphabetical order so it is easily found.

Anybody have any idea what chords he is playing?

Nice. I've always liked Philip Glass, although I hadn't heard this one before. It seems to be based on a descending sequence of bass notes: E D C Bb.
The chords (for each note) sound like Em, Em/D Cmaj7 Gm7/Bb
and the little repeating fill between chords is notes GBGBGBGB etc - sometimes that fill carries on throughout the chords, in which case B becomes Bb whenever the chord Gm7/Bb is being played

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
