Thumbs up   Our Kirk Interviewed In Top Aussie Guitar Magazine

Hi All

I apologise if somebody has already done a thread about this, but while I was at the local magazine store today, I was browsin' through the latest edition of Australian Guitar magazine and I was pleasantly surprised to see an interview done with our own Kirk Lorange.

Kirk, congratulations mate!

I really enjoyed reading it and also there is a cd rom that goes with the mag with Kirk playing on it.

I think it's great that you were interviewed Kirk. It made for excellent reading!

Great stuff!

Neil

I tried to find the magazine on line but couldn't

but I did find this video with Kirk in it, Tambourine Mountain seems to be a community of artist and players.

Har. That was one short cameo appearance.

Thanks 6string. I used to think Tamborine Mountain was close to heaven when I lived near there.
After watching the video, I think it is heaven. The place has got just about everything going for it.
Kirk, Clancy, any rental properties available?

I was there for a session ... Swanee (whose albums I had played on back in the 90s) asked me to come around and do some overdubs on one of his tunes. When I arrived, there were TV cameras and crews and all hell breaking loose! I met John Harley Weston, who lives across the street from Swanee, and hung around while they finished off the interview. I didn't realize at the time I was in shot ... a couple of days later everyone starting telling me they'd seen me on TV. I would have done something with my hair had I known ... the usual green and gold Mohawk.

Shame that our overseas members can't get to see the Australian Guitar Magazine edition. There is an entire segment (page) with an interview with Kirk.

  Kirk in the video....

Interesting video. I did see Kirk at the end, but if a person blinked twice, probably would've missed him!
