Cool. Actually, I've heard some bands where their complete songs sounded like that first two minutes....

What a treat! I've seen that before on the TV but not for ages. Nice of you to heads-up it for me Les - you sure have got my musical number! I'll be smiling all day after that snatch of heaven.

Did anyone spot Kirk sitting behind the big boys? - the cool guy wearing shades you can see now and again. Love George's complaint at the end - 'You missed out a verse!'

I always love watch rehearsals of any musical event - usually much more interesting than the event itself. Could music get any better than that? Hey, the boy's can play!

Phew - I need to go and have a cup of tea and a quick lie down....... .

Think I saw the bassist from the "Blues Brothers" there (Donald Duck Dunn?), and the guitarist.

Is the guy to George's left from the Eagles? Who is he?

That was good Matt, did you notice Neil Young was the only guy who didn't change for the performance?

Also they were all having such a ball but Bob just keeps wobbling away and doesn't even crack a smile

So is the first guy singing, with the R'Backer Dave Edmonds? What is he from?

Here's another "Heavy hitters" clip that was on TV this morning:

James Burton and Bruce Springteen trading lcks on Teles. What a treat!

He's the guy you were looking for from the original video I think Noodler I'm reasonably sure it's Roger McGuinn from the Byrds it looks like him and McGuinn loves his Rickenbacker that's a sweet guitar who wouldn't

Yeah it is

Here he is doing Mr Tambourine Man from the same concert with Tom Petty etc.

Could be wrong but think that's G E Smith, from Hall and Oates, Saturday night live I think, if it's him here he is doing his own thing sort of, if not it's a nice bit of playing whoever it is
