  Jimmy Page plays Skiffle

Don't know if everyones seen this, this is the young Jimmy Page playing Skiffle he's the guy on the left if you don't recognize him, I saw this last night on a roots of rock'n'roll programme and thought it would be of interest to the Led Zeppelin fans and anyone interested in the rock'n'roll roots of guitar heroes, I love the presenters in these old BBC programmes.

Seems like I saw this once before- you'd never think he would grow up to be rock royalty seeing this, huh?
He's "James Page", just learning guitar and looking forward to being a biological researcher- and nervous as all get out!

I wonder what happened to the other 3 they were all quite intellectual, there were several points in Jimmy Pages life that might have led to Led Zeppelin not existing, after Cliff Richard moved on from the shadows he needed a new backing band and Jimmy Page was offered a job in the band, luckily he didn't take it.
I thinks this is a nice bit of rock history, Sciences loss is Rocks gain.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
