Albert Collins (Iceman) King of the Tele.

We talk about great blues pickers. Albert Collins (Iceman) has got to be way up there with the greatest. Born in Leona Texas in 1932, distant cousin of the great Lightning Hopkins. He used unusual minor tunings. This man made the Tele talk the blues. He right hand just knew how to attack the tele. Unfortunately he was taken away from us in 1993. Here is the great man with the Legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Hi Doug
You want to get a copy (DVD) of Antone's House of Blues "A Legend Every Night"
The Performance footage list is : Albert Collins, Sue Foley, Buddy Guy, Willie Nelso, Pinetop Perkins, Angela Strehli, Hubert Sumlin, Jimmie Vaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kim Wilson, and many, many more. What is so important about this D.V.D., is it show's how Jimmie and Stevie (as well as many others) became who they (are) were by who they had played with in the early days (Albert Collins, Albert King ect.) If you are a fan of the Blues (Texas-Chicago) and want a history lesson this is a must own D.V.D.

Thank you for that info Rick. I'll start to look for it.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
