Pretty good PepticDust, apparently it's a boss battle on guitar hero must be great fun doing it, duelling guitars, I liked the original and this is a good take on it, it's good to see old songs played from a different perspective, thanks for posting it.

Nice find. That seems to be the trend lately and there seems to be a lot of cross overs in music. From Nashville Star to American Idol (which I don't really like nor watch) but non the less there is a lot of cross over. Here are a few examples: 1. Kelly Clarkson was a winner on AI now she is doing duets with Reba. 2. Miranda Lambert was on Nashville Star and is now a full time country music star but her songs have crossed over to the pop stations (at least around here).
3. Rascal Flatts (IMO - I can't stand them - IMO to me they detract from country music as a whole and all of there songs sound a like and are depressing). They (RF) have crossed over and are now on the pop charts. 4. Tim McGraw and the Nelly comp was a convert to both the country and the pop charts.
Do I like no not really with country I feel it should stay country. I think maybe its just the hillbilly in me! But as far as the rock compilations and the other (like Kid Rock and Hank Jr.) I have to say that this one was not only awesome but on both parts made it a class act. I guess maybe it had something to do with the fact I like Kid Rock and Hank Jr. Another couple I liked was on CMT Crossroads. The first would have to be Los Lonely Boys and Ronnie Milsap. The second is Little Big Town and Lindsey Buckingham (of Fleetwood Mac fame).
There has been a lot of neat and different covers then there has been some that were just wrong in more ways than one.
But hey, thats just my take.

Talking about crossovers, I don't know if you've heard of these guys, they're called Hayseed Dixie and they do Bluegrass covers of Heavy Metal Songs, I like them and they're great Musicians. This is the ACDC song HighWay To Hell The video is Final Fantasy Advent Children. and the other song is Motorhead Ace of Spades, Heavy Metal goes Bluegrass

I've heard that one plenty. In High School we all got to pick a song to enter our prom with (when you walk your date through the door). That was the one I picked.

Country and Metal are good places to take lyrics, but even better to mix! Hank III does that in his Hellbilly set. It's pretty good in my opinion!

It's pretty cool but I have to admit my fav song on GH3 is my idol's song, Through the Fire and Flames. Hence my username.
I love the tapping intro on TTFAF. But it doesn't really match with the real song. The real song's intro is tremolo picking. Don't believe me? here:
