  Pink Floyd at 40

A Pink Floyd special was recently aired on BBC Radio 2 celebrating the band's 40th anniversary. More details here - BBC - Radio 2 - Music Club - Pink Floyd at Radio 2

Sometimes access is restricted to UK users only but probably worth a try if you're a fan.

Yep, they've come a long way. Just a shame that there was such a strong clash of personalities between Roger and David. Otherwise, things could be entirely different.

Makes one wonder, if Syd hadn't gone insane, would he have remained with Pink Floyd, and if so would David Gilmour be such a well known musician and artist in his own right, or would we have never heard of him?

Great point Neil. What a loss it would have been if Dave hadn't made it.

It would have been interesting to see which way PInk Floyd would have gone artistically as a group if Syd had stayed with them.
