  Buckethead vid

A guy on another forum pointed me to this knowing how much I like melodic playing. You wouldn't think you would be hearing a tune like this from a guy who looks like that. Nice stuff.

This guy is mostly a headbanger, but stepped outside the box for this one.

Hmmm. It plays for me. You had best ask Clancy about that in troubleshooting. Try copy pasting it to your url addie box or just the addie before the . in com. If you can't get on the main site at all then the problem must be with your settings in your browser.

Haha, this thread is almost a year old but it popped up when I tried searching Buckethead. I just have to say to allthumbs, you should really check out his albums 'Electric Tears' and 'Colma'. I think you'll be pleasently suprised.

I will back MC up...

Electric Tears is amazing.

I believe it was Guitar One or Guitar World that ended their review of that cd with: "This must be what Rock Gods listen to at night when they go to sleep."

That is the only tune I liked. It is more melodic, if a bit mechanical. I can't get into the shreddie stuff he does.

Ah, that's a shame, I figured as they were only samples it might be OK.

EDIT: I did find one video on Youtube, he rarely plays anything from ET live! Link The one song doesn't do the album any justice, it really is a beautiful record.

If you can get past the bucket, he's a pretty good guitarist!
