He must have been a bat in a previous life to have a finger that long.

Certainly seems to come in handy for his playing.
Speaking of long fingers though, have you ever seen Jimi Hendrix fingers? They're that long they could've wrapped around the neck of the guitar several times.

They kinda look like finger extensions though.

Crazy thing is they aren't. That is the real pic from way back then lol. If you watch some of his videos, you would see just how long his reach is lmao.

I always wondered what he looks like without the bucket. My son is a big fan of Buckethead's. I hear his music blaring out of his HIFI constantly. He's a very talented guitarist albeit a little unusual.

A little unusual? Hahahahahahahahha... Understatement of my LIFETIME!

The guy is one of my favorite guitarists though. If your son doesn't have these few albums, I'd suggest you buy them for both of you:

Electric Tears
Population Override
and... Colma

ET and Colma are acoustic rhythm with electric lead and Pop Override is a jazz-influenced album.

Electric Tears is probably my favorite guitar album of all time. I remember reading a review before I bought it and the closing line couldn't have been more correct, "This album must be what rock Gods go to sleep to at night."

I've told my son about them but he says he's tried to look for them at cd stores all over town but they don't stock them.
I think he'll either have to order them or try ebay.

He's got a few Buckethead songs that his friend recorded for him such as Nottingham Lace, Big Sur Moon, Too Many Humans, etc and they sound great.

YouTube - Buckethead - Spell Of The Gypsies

One of the better songs from ET.
