Does anyone know............?
Hey, does anybody know the name of the song played in the movie "Cowboys" with John Wayne and Bruce Dern?
Thanks!

This might help you Yeah1Right. John Williams was the composer of the original soundtrack. Here is a page from Amazon with sound samples of all the different songs from the movie. Have a listen and see if it's one of the ones there.

Thank you so much for your effort Clancy!
I couldn't find it in the samples. I guess I need to be more specific. The boys were around the campfire and Slim picked up a guitar and started playing, I think a classical number. As he was playing, the camera panned to the star filled evening at the creshendo.
I'm still swingin' for the fences!

Ah, so it wasn't really the soundtrack. Check out this page it might help. Music of Vivaldi perhaps?

What a great idea for a thread!
My turn, I like the uke (just for fun ) Have a listen to this clip starting about 1 minute into it Bob Brozman plays a melody on his Uke that I've heard before but can't remember the name of.
Does anyone know the name of this tune?

PS. What's the difference beteween a banjo & ukulele? The Ukulele burns quicker

Sorry can't help you out there Dan.
I'm going to move this thread to the music lounge as it really is music related not off-topic.
