Some acoustic metal
Here's a metal band called Kittie doing an acoustic set. The unplugged metal is just as dark and powerful as the.........what's the technical term for playing electric guitar?
Anyway, they are my second favourite band, so I hope you like it.

Can't say I've heard much of their material even on electric. But it's nice to see an all female band getting into the heavy metal genre.

That's awesome, Peptic, terrible vid quality...do you happen to know where that was shot? I know Kittie, they're from London, ON, last I heard, which is not that far from me.
They really have some great songs, and I've wanted to do some of them but on an acoustic it just wouldn't sound the same, normally. Not many chord/tab sheets on their music out there, either. i actually did a few searches on them - I was looking for some of their older materials, including the song that brought them a lot of attention, but I couldn't find anything on them. Then I found out I was probably spelling the band name incorrectly....LOL If you have links to any of this stuff, feel free to PM them to me, and thanks!

Here's a clip of them doing Pink Floyd. It says it's live but it's actually the album version that's playing. She also plays slide guitar in it.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
