He is once again battling cancer for the second time in the last two years. He was going to play a gig with a friend of mine at jeffs new blues club but, had to cancel. It doesn't look good.

Woo, allthumbs, that's not a good thing to hear! I once partied with him at a Toronto bar - he said that all the women at the table were absolutely beautiful! I'm really sad to hear that.

Yeah that is sad news. I too hope he beats it (the cancer) and makes a full recovery. Saw him back in '91 and he rocked the roof off. Great memories of that night!

It's very sad. He was an amazing musician and performer. He had a radio show on the CBC that I listened to a lot. I'll miss him.

Very sad to hear of Jeff's passing. He fought a long and valiant battle and overcame a lot of obstacles to become the guitarist he was. He should serve as an inspiration to everyone.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
